The Merced County Office of Education, Education Specialist: Mild to Moderate Support Needs or Extensive Support Needs Intern Credential and the Multiple Subject Intern Credential Programs were designed for teacher candidates who want to complete their teacher preparation while working as classroom teachers.

During the two-year program, intern teachers gain valuable expertise while on the job through mentorship, coaching, completion of coursework and completion of assessments.
