Practice this mindful thought exercise with a caregiver, friend, or yourself!

1. First, find a quiet place and get into a comfortable seated position.

2. Place your hands on your knees, palms facing upward

3. Notice and relax your body. Take note of your feelings at this moment.

4. Breathe deeply, feel your lungs expand as you take in air. Hold your breath for two seconds then release your . breath slowly.

5. Repeat this breathing step 5 times.
