This program is designed to introduce adult students to accounting principles, procedures, and applications. The program is structured to provide a maximum opportunity for students to learn accounting fundamentals using QuickBooks; which is necessary for today's bookkeeping/account clerk careers. Textbooks, online workbooks and personal computers are provided in order to learn these skills in the classroom. Each student will have an opportunity to become certified as a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) in Word, Excel and Outlook. Each student will be placed at an internship with a local business in order to obtain real world experience.
