On Day #1, I was introduced to lots of programs that caught my attention. Its hard to pick just one. But some I plan to implement in my classroom would be Pear Deck and Quizizz. I really enjoyed Pear Deck because its easy to join your session, you are able to show students interactive responses without showing any names,  and love that you can time and lock responses, as well as hide responses. Lastly, Pear Deck can be paired with your mobile device so you are free to walk around the classroom to make sure everyone is on task.  I also would like to implement Quizizz, who doesn't enjoy playing a game? I have used Kahoot before but really liked how Quizizz allows the students to see the problem on their screens.  Lastly, I liked how on Quizizz you can see which problems students struggled on. This is a great way as a teacher you can see what you need to improve on to help the students understand the content better.

Hello Yazmin, I did not realize peardeck could be used on a phone. That definitely will make it easier to roam the classroom while lecturing, I do not feel right sitting behind a desk for long in the classroom

You right Yazmin,

It is difficult to pick only one program. I realize you have experience working with those programs, it is fantastic. Your post helps me to understand better how Pear Deck, Quizizz, and Kahoot! Work.  The anonymity part of these games is perfect for students who don’t use to participate because they are shy. Last year, working in the ELA class, the teacher used Kahoot! To practice the parts of an essay, and there was a girl how got all the points.  Students said that she was the smatters person in the classroom, and some students did not participate because they have no chance to win. But the same girl never participated in playing Kahoot! during math class.  As you said, with these games, “you can see what you need to improve on to help the students understand the content better.”
